The best snowmobile adventures begin at your Boondock Inn Resort headquarters in Twin Lakes, Michigan. Boondock Inn is a resort newly owned by snowmobilers for snowmobilers. Over the past year, the new owners have made great investments in the properties, boasting eight (8) new or newly remodeled cabins of various sizes within walking distance of our newly remodeled bar/restaurant. Cabins have wi-fi, Roku TVs, kitchens, nice bathrooms, new beds, and plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. Families or groups will find just what they are looking for to relax after a day on the trails.
Riding out of Twin Lakes is a snowmobiler’s dream come true! The Bill Nichols Trail is accessible from the Boondock cabins, and riders can explore in all directions from base camp. With average snowfall in Twin Lakes in the hundreds of inches, you can enjoy miles of groomed trails, ungroomed forest roads, and state forests offering extraordinary riding. The owners are there to help with planning your self-guided rides, answer questions only the locals can, and help ensure a great day of exploration. Afterward, you can return to your cozy Northwoods cabin and walk down to the Boondock Inn restaurant to share your day’s adventures over a delicious meal.
As a prime snowmobiler’s destination, we also rent Polaris 650 Adventure sleds and gear. We will offer sled delivery up to 30 miles and have access to sled recovery and connections with our local Polaris dealer’s service department. We will do everything possible to keep you riding during your stay.
